These terms govern your use of the departurebaydigital.ca website (the “Site”). The Site is operated by Pacific Tally Systems under the brand name Departure Bay Digital.
Using this website
You may browse the Site for information about our services. You agree not to misuse the Site — for example, by attempting unauthorized access, scraping in a way that impairs the Site, or using the Site for unlawful purposes.
Not a contract for services
Prices and descriptions on the Site are starting points for discussion, not binding offers. A project begins only when you and we agree in writing (email is fine) on scope, price, and timeline. Client work is governed by that project agreement, not these website terms.
Typical commercial terms for website packages (for example 50% deposit and 50% on delivery) are described on the Site for convenience; the signed or emailed project agreement controls if there is a conflict.
Portfolio and samples
Client sites linked from the Site belong to those clients or their operators. Sample demos are provided for illustration of technical capability. Do not rely on samples as production systems unless we agree otherwise in a project scope.
Intellectual property
Site content, branding, and original code we display here remain our property or our clients’ property as applicable. You may not copy or redistribute Site materials without permission, except for personal evaluation of whether to hire us.
Disclaimer
The Site is provided “as is” without warranties. We do not guarantee the Site will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the extent permitted by British Columbia and Canadian law, Pacific Tally Systems is not liable for damages arising from your use of the Site.
